Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2019 Ford F-150 comes in seven trim levels: the XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited, and Raptor. Customize your F-150 with one of 13 different exterior paint colors. Choose between three cab styles — regular, SuperCab, and SuperCrew — to better accommodate passengers. The regular and SuperCab styles have the option of a 6.5-foot standard bed or an 8-foot long bed. The SuperCrew comes with the standard bed or a 5.5-foot short bed.
Engine (Power)
Match your truck to your needs by choosing from six available engines. Your choices are the 2.7-liter turbocharged EcoBoost, 3.5-liter EcoBoost, high-output 3.5-liter EcoBoost, 3.3-liter Ti-VCT V-6, 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V-8, and the 3.0-liter Power Stroke turbo diesel. Each engine brings something different to the table. Some are better equipped for towing, some have better fuel efficiency for the long haul, and the others focus on raw power. The F-150 has whatever you need on the job or for your lifestyle. Each engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission that has selectable modes: normal, tow-haul, snow-wet, EcoSelect, and sport.
Performance
The F-150 is the truck for the person who works hard and plays hard. Whether you're hitching up a trailer to get the job done or taking the boat down to the lake, towing capacity is the last thing you have to worry about. Depending on the engine you choose, you can see up to 375 horsepower, 470 pound-feet of torque, and a tow rating of up to 13,200 pounds. This vehicle makes towing a walk in the park with its Roll Stability Control, backup assist, and trailer brake controller.
Interior
The interior features change as you move up the line of trim levels, but each model has a roomy, comfortable cabin that makes trips easy for passengers. The touch-screen, using the Ford+Alexa system, allows you to use voice-activated commands, look up traffic information, shop on Amazon Prime, and much more. The optional moon roof for the SuperCrew gives the truck a safari feel on vacations. The largest seating capacity belongs to the SuperCrew cab, which seats five people comfortably. The available ambient lighting gives the cabin a futuristic, cool atmosphere. The greatest feature of the 2019 F-150 is the sheer customizability that allows the driver to choose the perfect truck for them, inside and out.
Safety Features
The blind spot information system alerts you when there is an obstacle where you can't see it. The adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go technology keeps an eye on the road ahead and slows down when it sees a car too close ahead, which is also great for fuel economy.
