The 2021 Ford Bronco is available in seven trim levels: Bronco, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Wildtrak, Badlands, and First Edition. Each trim level is available in two or four-door body styles. The Bronco has a boxy profile and a modern, streamlined look. The doors and top are removable, and soft and hard tops are available. The big, rectangular grille has Bronco lettering in the center, and it's surrounded by round headlights. This SUV also comes with active grille shutters and heated side mirrors. Its high ground clearance lets it handle tough terrain.
Engine (Power)
The 2021 Bronco comes with all-wheel drive, and you can choose one of two engines. The 2.3-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder motor uses a seven-speed manual transmission, and it generates 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. The 2.7-liter V-6 has a 10-speed automatic transmission, and it gives 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
This SUV is versatile and capable. It can pull up to 3,500 pounds and carry up to 1,370 pounds. You can choose slippery-, sport-, sand-, normal-, or eco-driving modes. With the badlands, you'll also get mud/ruts and rock crawl modes. The Bronco only uses all-wheel drive when needed to conserve fuel, and the optional Trail Control system controls speed and braking for you on trails so that you can focus on steering. You can also add an engine block heater for ease with starting in cold weather.
Interior
The 2021 Ford Bronco is built for convenience and entertainment, and it can carry five people. It has up to 77.6 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded, three 12-volt power outlets, four USB ports, a six-speaker sound system, and SiriusXM satellite radio.
You'll also get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, push-button start, keyless entry with an optional keypad, an 8-inch touch screen, six cup holders, and cruise and audio controls for the steering wheel. You can add dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start, wireless charging, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 110-volt power outlet, ambient lighting, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. A 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, navigation, and 10-way power driver's seat are available as well. You can even add washable floors with drains to make washing away dirt and mud after an off-road trip easy.
Safety Features
The Bronco comes with a variety of safety and driver assistance features to improve your peace of mind and help you stay safe. The dual-stage front air bags can deploy at different speeds for better protection during an accident. Other standard features include trailer sway control, a rearview camera, traction control, roll stability control, and forward collision warning. You'll get automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assistance, blind spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert as well.
