2020 Ford Mustang | Palm Coast Ford

Ever since the first release of the Ford Mustang, people have enjoyed the thrill of driving one. Year after year, the Mustang continues to excite. Here are just some impressive features of the 2020 Ford Mustang.

High Performance

The Ford Mustang is known for being a sporty powerhouse of a vehicle, and it has the engines to back it up. No matter which trim level you select, you’ll have an impressive engine under the hood. Available powertrains include the 2.3-liter EcoBoost that generates 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, the 2.3-liter EcoBoost Premium that produces 330 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, and a GT 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V-8 that produces 460 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque.

The BULLITT engine is the same as the GT engine but with an added air intake, which boosts the horsepower to 480. The Shelby GT350 engine is a 5.2L NA Ti-VCT V-8, Ford’s track-ready engine that’s completely street-legal. With this engine, experience an impressive 526 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. Last but not least, the Shelby GT500 engine produces more than 700 horsepower and 625 pound-feet of torque, making it the most powerful Mustang engine. If you want to race, this engine will be the one that takes you from zero to 60 in just over three seconds.

Integrated Technology

Although the 2020 Mustang is impressive under the hood, Ford has made sure that you’re equally thrilled with its technology. To start with, you have a 12-inch LCD digital instrument cluster you’re able to configure to your specifications, right down to the color display. The instrument cluster also displays your Mustang’s performance metrics, including lap time, g-forces, and acceleration. In your dash, use the touch screen infotainment system to connect Apple CarPlay or Android Auto so you can enjoy your favorite apps for music, podcasts, and news. The available Wi-Fi hotspot will make sure your service never drops on your drive.

Ford Sync Connect comes standard on all Ford Mustang models. This system integrates with a smartphone app so you can control and monitor your Mustang from a distance. SYNC 3 is Ford’s voice activation system that allows you to keep your eyes on the road yet still navigate to your destination with the Waze app and use your normal Amazon Alexa services.

Superior Handling and Steering

You already know that the Mustang has a powerful engine, but how this sports car operates with it is worth mentioning. The standard suspension on the Mustang delivers handling and steering that keeps you in control of your drive, while the dampening system contributes to a smooth ride under your wheels. When you’re going fast, know that Ford’s braking system will get you to a stop safely and quickly. The Mustang also offers different drive modes, including Normal, Snow/Wet, Sport, Track, and Drag Strip. This is just one more way to customize your ride to your needs.
