We aren’t about to disagree with that, because we absolutely love a good pizza pie. 1. Mezzaluna Pizzeria

At Mezzaluna, their goal is to bring their homestyle cooking from their family to yours. We sure felt like a part of the family with the excellent service we got here. The food is outstanding, too. 2. Sami’s Pizza

Serving up dinner for someone with a gluten-free diet? Sami’s has you covered there, with their gluten-free pie options. They’ve got lots of great specialty pizzas besides that, as well. Our favorite has to be the stuffed VIP pizza. This is a feast baked between two sheets of crust, loaded with mozzarella and provolone cheese, ham, salami, pepperoni, meatballs, and onions.

3. Napoli Pizza

If you name your pizzeria after the home of pizza itself in Naples, Italy, you better back that up with some authentic pies. Napoli Pizza doesn’t disappoint at all. Their caprese pizza is a refreshing option, topped with fresh spinach and tomatoes, garlic, parmesan, basil, and a balsamic reduction. If you’ve got room left over for dessert, leave with a bag of their fresh-baked zeppolis. The sweet doughballs are a real treat.

4. Anthony’s Pizzeria and Restaurant

At Anthony’s, they say they’re into fitness… ‘fitness’ whole pizza in your mouth, that is! If you’re into seafood, you’ll love the calamari fritti for a starting dish. Fried to perfection and served with marinara sauce, it makes the perfect beginning to your meal. Then move on to the main event: the pizza! You can build your own pie either as a classic round pie or a Sicilian-style square pie, with your choice of their quality toppings on it.

5. Joe’s New York Pizza & Pasta

Down here in Florida, it can be a little tiring here folks from up north talk about how much better the pizza is back in New York. After trying out one of Joe’s New York-style pies, however, we’re starting to think they might have a point. You haven’t lived until you try their ‘Hawaii 5-0′ pie, which comes topped with pineapple chunks, ham, bacon, and mozzarella.
