La Piazza Cafe
Located on Palm Harbor Parkway, La Piazza Cafe is a family-owned and operated Italian restaurant offering an upscale dining experience. The inside is stylishly decorated with classy lighting, while the beautifully lit patio with its grape-lined trellises and fireplaces provides al fresco dining with a Mediterranean atmosphere.
The menu features a wide variety of appetizers, salads, pasta dishes, and Italian-American classics. The specialty steaks include grilled New York strip or filet mignon, and a pan-seared “wet-aged” bone-in filet. You can upgrade your steak by adding grilled shrimp or lobster tail to your order. The restaurant offers a choice of over 100 wines to accompany your meal.
Funky Pelican
If you’d like your steak with a stunning ocean view, Funky Pelican is located right by the pier at Flagler Beach. The restaurant features wooden floors, walls, and ceilings that create a relaxed, rustic atmosphere. The spacious outdoor seating area is right over the beach and has a separate bar. The indoor and outdoor bars offer a selection of craft, tap, and bottled beers as well as cocktails and wine by the glass or bottle.
To start, you can choose from appetizers like Gator Bites, the Ahi Tuna Tower, bacon-wrapped shrimp, and fried calamari. The steak is a succulent hand-cut rib-eye grilled with herb butter.
