2023 ford escape spied

Ford is preparing a refresh for the 2023 Escape, and the updated crossover was spied sans camouflage near its production facility in Louisville, Kentucky. The front end is heavily revised, with pointier headlights, a boxier grille, and an LED light bar. The taillights have also been redesigned, and the Escape facelift is expected to debut this fall.

The most noticeable change for the 2023 Ford Escape is the trendy light bar running across the top of the grille and linking the headlights. The grille has also been redesigned, sitting higher in the front fascia and with a boxier outline, and the Ford logo has migrated into the middle of the grille.

The changes to the rear of the Escape are more subtle, with the taillights sporting a new upside-down-U LED lighting signature. The rear bumper is unchanged, and this example eschews black plastic cladding along the side of the vehicle for body-colored trim. The facelifted Escape is expected to continue to offer gas, hybrid, and plug-in variants, and it should be revealed in the fall before starting production late this year.

Ford's F-150 Lightning Pro is an electric pickup truck for businesses - The Verge

The F-150 Lightning, Ford’s first electric truck, is a brand new model for Ford’s 2022 truck lineup. Although similar to the regular F-150 appearance-wise, the Lightning swaps the gas powered V6 and V8 engines for a pair of electric motors and a battery pack. The Standard Range battery pack delivers up to 230 miles per charge, while the Extended Range delivers up to 320 miles per charge. All wheel drive is standard on the F-150 Lightning, and is capable of towing up to 10,000 pounds.

Buyers will be able to charge their F-150 Lightnings at home via 110 and 220 volt outlets, but the truck is also capable of charging at public DC fast-charging stations. The truck can charge from 15 percent to 80 percent of battery capacity in 44 minutes. Ford also engineered the F-150 Lightning to serve as a backup generator and says a fully-charged truck can supply up to three days of electricity for the average household in the event of a power outage.

A 12 inch touchscreen infotainment system with Ford’s latest Sync 4 software is standard, but Lariat and Platinum models come with an even larger 15 inch display. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, and a Wi-Fi hotspot, are all standard.

The Standard Range battery model packs 452 hp, while the Extended Range puts out a mighty 580 hp. Both versions of the F-150 Lightning still produce 775 lb-ft of torque.

2023 Ford F-150 Rattler First Look: Off-Road Goods for Cheap

The F-150 Rattler is an off-road focused trim level based on the F-150 XL. It adds a bunch of off-road options from the FX4 package without breaking the bank. The Rattler package gets you a set of skid plates, hill descent control, off-road tuned shocks, rear electronic locking differential, 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, and dual exhaust. Beyond all that extra off-road hardware, there are some trim differences to help this truck look more special, too. Those changes include unique fender badges and rattlesnake-inspired graphics on the outside, and on the inside, onyx upholstery with bronze accents and stitching.

Ford hasn’t said what powertrains will be available with the Rattler, but XL models are available with a naturally aspirated V6, the turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine or a 5.0-liter V8, and it stands to reason that one of those will be under the Rattler’s hood.

The Rattler goes on sale this fall, and even though pricing is yet to come, we expect it to be a much more affordable alternative to the Tremor and the Raptor.
