It's coming soon - the next generation Ford Ranger! A video of the 2023 Ranger prototype has recently been released by Ford, showing the truck undergoing durability tests in the mud, sand, and snow. The brand new look is still under wraps, but is anticipated to be fully revealed later this year. The official launch will happen in late 2022. The next generation Ranger will share a platform with the Ford Bronco, and is expected to have a standard 2.3L EcoBoost engine. Other engine options may include a hybrid and the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 that is found in the Bronco. The Ranger Raptor has also been highly anticipated, and is expected to feature the same 3.0L EcoBoost V6 engine that is in the Explorer ST.
